NOTE:
For inverters that need external ferrite, perform the installation as follows.
With ferrite on the output cables only
1. Assemble the Kit (without the clamps).
2. Pass the output cables through the Ferrite (according to the notes on table
B.3 of the user's manual).
3. Connect the ground cable (from the motor) to the inverter grounding point.
4. Connect the output cables to the inverter.
5. Fasten the clamp to the output cables.
6. The shield of the output cables must be fastened by the clamp so as to obtain
a good electrical contact.
7. Connect the ground cable (of the supply line) to the inverter grounding point.
8. Connect the input cables to the inverter.
9. Fasten the clamp to the input cables.
10. The shield of the input cables must be fastened by the clamp so as to obtain
a good electrical contact.
11. Connect signal cables and fasten the clamp for these cables.
With ferrite on the input and output cables
1. Assemble the Kit (without the clamps).
2. Pass the output cables through the Ferrite (according to the notes on table
B.3 of the user's manual).
3. Connect the ground cable (from the motor) to the inverter grounding point.
4. Connect the output cables to the inverter.
5. Fasten the clamp to the output cables.
6. The shield of the output cables must be fastened by the clamp so as to obtain
a good electrical contact.
7. Pass the input cables through the Ferrite (according to the notes on table B.3
of the user's manual).
8. Connect the ground cable (of the supply line) to the inverter grounding point.
9. Connect the input cables to the inverter.
10. Fasten the clamp to the input cables.
11. The shield of the input cables must be fastened by the clamp so as to obtain
a good electrical contact.
12. Adjust the position of the input cable Ferrite so that it will not block the passage
of the screw that fastens the clamp of the signal cables.
13. Connect signal cables and fasten the clamp for these cables.
