Alarm Function
You can set two alarm times; proceed as follows:
• Press the
button (1/21) to switch the device off.
• Press and hold the AL1 button (1 on RC) or the AL2
button (3 on RC) for approx. 2 sec. The currently set
wake-up time appears on the display. The hours flash.
• Press the / buttons to set the hours. Press the AL1
or AL2 button to confirm. The minutes flash.
• Set the minutes, press the / buttons. Press AL1 or
AL2 button to confirm.
• Using the / buttons, select how you want to be
woken. Confirm your selection with the AL1 or AL2
button.
The following options are available:
- " " (Buzzer):
An alarm sounds when the wake-up time is reached.
The volume increases slowly.
- " " (Radio):
As soon as your set wake-up time is reached, the
radio switches on. The last set channel will play. The
volume increases slowly.
- " " (iPod/iPhone):
CAUTION:
Before plugging in the iPod/iPhone, make sure
that the radio is not in iPod mode.
• Press the
OPEN/CLOSE button (9/2) to extend
the dock.
• Insert the supplied dock adapter for your iPod
into the dock. You can only ensure that the
iPod/iPhone fits correctly into the iPod port if
the adapter is plugged in.
• Insert your iPod or iPhone in the dock.
CAUTION:
Make sure that your iPod/iPhone is plugged
upright into the port. Do not bend or tilt the
iPod/iPhone whilst it is plugged into the port.
This may cause damage to the dock and/or
the iPod/iPhone.
• Press the
OPEN/CLOSE button to retract the
dock again.
• Playback from your iPod/iPhone starts in the
set mode at the set alarm time. The volume
increases slowly.
NOTE:
• Follow your iPod/iPhone manual to select
the desired mode
• If no iPod/iPhone is connected the device
wakes you in BUZZER mode.
• Finally select the maximum wake-up volume with the
/ buttons.
• Press the AL1 or AL2 button, " " or " " is displayed.
The first or second alarm time is activated.
Turn Off Alarm
Press the
button to turn off the alarm until the next
day.
Snooze Function
Press the SNOOZE button (2/20) to deactivate the alarm
for approx. 9 minutes.
Deactivate Alarm
• To deactivate the first alarm time, repeatedly press
the AL1 button (1 on RC) until " " disappears on the
display.
• To deactivate the second alarm time, repeatedly press
the AL2 button (3 on RC) until " " disappears on the
display.
Sleep Timer (SLEEP button (20 on RC))
In ON mode, set the time for the device to automatically
switch to standby mode. Select between: 120, 90, 60, 30,
15 and OFF. Repeatedly press this button until the desired
time is displayed. SLEEP is displayed if the function is ac-
tivated. After the set time the device automatically turns
off.
Press the
button (1/21) to cancel this function. The
device switches to standby mode.
Music Playback from iPod/iPhone
(iPod/iPhone not supplied)
CAUTION:
Before plugging in the iPod/iPhone, make sure that the
radio is not in iPod/iPhone mode.
1. Press the
button (1/21) to switch the device on.
2. Press the
OPEN/CLOSE button (9/2) to extend the
dock.
3. Insert the supplied dock adapter for your iPod into the
dock. You can only ensure that the iPod fits correctly
into the iPod/iPhone port if the adapter is plugged in.
4. Insert your iPod/iPhone into the dock.
CAUTION:
Make sure that your iPod/iPhone is plugged upright
into the port. Do not bend or tilt the iPod/iPhone
whilst it is plugged into the port.This may cause
damage to the dock or the iPod/iPhone.
5. Repeatedly press the FUNCTION button (4/14), until
"iPHONE" is displayed.
