2. OPERATION

Install Sound Shower securely using
suitable brackets. There is VESA-100
compatible bracket attachment on
backside of the product. Connect and
secure all cables before connecting the
24V PSU to mains. Aim Sound Shower
front plane towards intended listening
area.
After connecting PSU to mains switch
the power ON. The green Power LED is
light. Audio media may be played and
volume level increased or decreased
to suitable level by Volume Control
knob. Red Clip LED is indicating when
maximum signal level is reached and
amplifier is at the edge of clipping. It is
not recommended to exceed this limit in
continuous use.
How to set up volume:
1. Place Panphonics speaker to the
desired spot
2. Measure the ambient noise level of
the installation site, using a decibel
meter (available free smartphone
apps i.e.g. Android: "Noise Meter"
iPhone: "Decibel 10th")
3. Connect the media player to the
amplifier and set mediaplayers
volume at it's max and use the
amplifiers volume knob for trimming
the sound 3-5 dB (max 10dB) higher
that the ambience. Measure the
volume level from the sopt where
the actual user would be hearing
the audio. This should give a good
directivity and loud and clear enough
audio.
Use volume control carefully and protect
other persons comfort and hearing:
because of high directivity there may be
local high sound pressure levels in front
of loudspeaker not heard from side areas!
