1.8.3 Wireless Remote and Transmitter Installation Continued
3. Stop
a. T he system will automatically shut down the
transmitter if not activated for 5 minutes.
b. P ress and hold the Power Button for 5 sec-
onds to shut down the transmitter.
4. Reset
a. Press and hold the Programming Button for 5 seconds until the Red indicator illuminates.
b. Press the Power Button on the transmitter for 5 seconds until the Green indicator lights up.
c. P ress the In or Out button on the transmitter until the Red indicator light on
the receiver turns off.
d. Reset is now completed. Please note only one remote transmitter can be reset for each receiver.
5. Notes
a. The wireless remote control and wired remote can be exchanged for activating the winch or jack.
b. B linking Green LED light shows the transmitter battery is low, the battery should be replaced
immediately.
c. P lease note only one remote can be reset for each receiver.
d. Blinking Red LED for poor signal.
1.9 Cable Tensioner
1. Disconnect power to your winch
2. Remove the wire rope from the winch.
Disengage the clutch T-handle.
Un-spool the entire rope, and remove it from
the drum.
3. Remove the winch from it's mount.
4. Loosen and remove all of the tie rod bolts
from one side of the winch.
5. Pull each of the two halves of the winch about
one or two inches apart from the drum. Fig. 26.
6. Loosely install the bolts and square nuts into
the mounting plate. Fig 27.
7. Push the winch sides back together while
guiding the square nuts into the pockets on
the inside of the frame sides. Fig. 28.
8. Replace the tie rod bolts.
9. Using an adjustable wrench to hold the flat
spots on the tie rod; torque the tie rod bolts
according to Table 6, page 18.
10. Torque the cable tensioner mounting plate
bolts according to Table 6, page 18. Fig 30.
11. Place the cable tensioner onto the winch as
shown. Fig 30.
12. Install the four button head cap screws and
torque to 20 ft.-lbs. Fig 30.
