IMPORTANT WARNINGS

!
• Make sure your pet has a standard ISO microchip with 15 digits FDXb (unified
system, worldwide approved and used). The product will not identify other
kinds of microchips. If you use the microchip provided with the included collar,
the system correct working is granted only if your pet does not have other
implanted microchips.
• Do not pour with any liquid on the pet door, especially on the battery or the
control panel area; this may damage the batteries and the sophisticated
electronic board inside the product.
• If the pet flap is fitted on a door, pay attention not to slam it; in case it
happens, please check the product good working (i.e.: put the flap in the
manual mode and check if the electric power is working and if the flap
correctly opens and closes). If it doesn't work, check if the batteries are placed
correctly inside their compartment and if they touch the contact sheets; in
case they don't, the sheets can be easily adjusted. Also periodically check if the
batteries are oxidised because this will prevent the electric contact. NB: if the
battery are removed the recorded microchips will be saved and kept even
without power and you don't' need to record them again.
• The electronic device does not work near metal objects, which could interfere
with the reliable operational efficiency. If installed in double-glazed doors,
where there is a metal strip in between the panes, this must not be in contact
with the flap and properly isolated. The electronic system does not work if the
flap is installed to metal doors, metal doors covered in uPVC (Ultra Resistant
Polyvinyl Chloride), doors with metal panels or security doors. The door must
be isolated. (see paragraph "Metal doors").
• IMPORTANT! Do not cut the tunnel of the SWING MICROCHIP and SWING
MICROCHIP LARGE flaps because it contains delicate mechanism!
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and

concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Make sure the batteries are placed in the correct order (see picture inside their
compartment). Placing the batteries in the inverted order may damage the
product.
• Disposal of batteries must be done according to applicable regulations.
• Do not expose the appliance, especially the battery, to high temperatures.
• The microchip flap works properly only if the microchip in implanted on the
pet's neck, this one being not further than 20 cm from his nose.
• Only use good quality alkaline batteries (1.5V AA LR6 for SWING MICROCHIP
and 1.5V C LR14 for SWING MICROCHIP LARGE) in order to ensure a good
product working.
• The pet flap is not able not read two microchip codes at the same time, i.e. the
microchip provided with the collar and the one implanted on the pet.
• The microchip will be detected only when the pet interrupts the IR ray inside
the tunnel.
• In case of bad product working or delay in detecting the microchip, it is
recommended to reset the door by taking away and re-introducing the
batteries.
