Use and maintenance instructions of the plastic
boot dish
The plastic boot dish serves for protection of the boot against dirt.
Mechanical wear of the plastic boot dish does not deteriorate its
function in any manner whatsoever (i.e. that the warranty does not
apply to any damages caused by usual wear of the dish).
The plastic boot dish is not intended for long-term use. Slight shift
of the booth dish (when loading and unloading transported objects)
might, after some time, cause damage to the neighbour parts (boot
lining). Therefore, if you do not need the boot dish to transport the
objects, we recommend its removal from the boot and storage at a
suitable place.
Clean the plastic boot dish using common cleansing agents for
plastics. In no case use agents containing abrasive solvents.
Push the plastic boot dish into the boot
(Fig. 2, 3 - by the type of the vehicle)
Insert the plastic boot dish into the vehicle boot as shown on rele-
vant figures (Fig. 2 - Octavia Limousine, Fig. 3 - Octavia Combi).
Caution. In vehicles Octavia Limousine insert the boot
dish in inclined position. At the point of the 5th door
sill, the opening into the boot is narrowed. Be careful
not to damage the 5th door seal or the boot lining.
Then push the plastic boot dish slightly onto the boot floor -arrow-.
