Overload light (red) - the light turns on if the following are de-
tected: overload of the connected receivers, overheating of the
inverter system or increase or the increase in the generator out-
put voltage. In this case, a current protection device will stop the
operation of the generator to protect the generator and the re-
ceivers. The operating light will turn off . However, the combustion
engine operation will not be stopped.
If the overload light turns on, switch off all receivers connected
to the generator using the switches. Stop the operation of the
generator mechanical engine. Check if the sum of the rated out-
put of all receivers connected to the generator does not exceed
the rated output of the generator. If necessary, disconnect some
of the receivers. Check that the air inlets and/or ventilation slots
are not blocked. Check the generator environment for objects
that may cause clogging of the air inlets and/or ventilation slots.
After checking, restart the generator according to the start pro-
cedure.
Caution! The overload light may turn on for a few seconds as
soon as the receiver connected to the generator is started. Some
receivers take more power than the rated power at start-up. This
is not a malfunction.
Economic generator operation mode
The generator is able to operate in the economic mode. In this
mode, the engine revolutions are regulated automatically de-
pending on the connected load. This reduces noise and fuel con-
sumption. The mode is activated by moving the switch marked
„ECON.SW" to the on position: ON / I. The mode is switched
off by moving the switch marked „ECON.SW" to the off position:
OFF / O. If the generator is not in economic mode, the mechani-
cal engine operates at its rated speed.
Caution! Economic operation mode should not be activated
when starting receivers which have a high power consumption
rate during start-up.
Connecting electrical equipment to the generator
CAUTION! Do not connect electrical devices with a rated power
output higher than the rated power of the generator to the gen-
erator. If more than one unit is connected, the total rated output
of the units must be lower than the rated output of the generator.
CAUTION! Check whether the electrical devices connected to
the generator have electrical parameters compliant with the gen-
erator's electrical parameters.
Start the engine according to the procedure described under
"Start-up of the combustion engine".
Make sure that the electrical equipment to be connected is
switched off .
Lift the socket cover and then plug the receiver's power cord into
the generator's power socket (IX).
Start the receiver by moving the its switch to the ON position.
Caution! If you connect more than one of them to the receiver,
start the next one only when the previous one begins normal
operation, e.g. when it reaches the rated speed, heats up to the
rated temperature, etc.
Stopping the engine
Turn off the receiver connected to the generator using its ON/
OFF switch.
Disconnect the receiver from the generator by unplugging the
power cord from the generator's power socket.

Move the economic operation mode switch to the OFF / O po-
sition.
Turn the engine switch to the STOP / O position.
Wait until the engine comes to a complete standstill.
Close the fuel valve by turning it to the OFF position.
CAUTION! Should it be necessary to shut down the engine im-
mediately in the event of an emergency, move the engine switch
to the STOP / O position.
Operation at high altitude
The carburettor installed in the generator has been designed
for correct operation at an altitude not higher than specifi ed in
the technical data table. If you need to work at a higher altitude,
contact an authorized servicing centre to modify the carburettor.
Even after modifi cation of the carburettor, it is expected that the
power of the combustion engine will decrease, and consequent-
ly the generator's power will decrease by 3.5 % for every 300
meters of altitude increase above the limit given in the table.
The power drop will be greater when using a generator without a
modifi ed carburettor. The decrease in power is due to the dilution
of air as sea level altitude rises.
MAINTENANCE AND OVERHAUL
During the warranty period, the user cannot disassemble the de-
vice or replace other assemblies or components than those listed
below, as this will invalidate the warranty. Any irregularities found
during the check or the operation signal the need for repair to be
done at the servicing centre.
After work has been fi nished, clean the housing, ventilation slots,
switches, additional handle grip and guards using e.g. a jet of
air (pressure not more than 0.3 MPa), or a brush or dry cloth
without the use of chemicals or cleaning liquids. Clean the tools
and holders with a clean, dry cloth.
Scheduled Inspections
Periodic inspection and maintenance of the following generator
assemblies must be carried out.
CAUTION! All maintenance must be carried out with the ma-
chine switched off and not running. It is also necessary to dis-
connect all electrical equipment from the generator.
CAUTION! If a service operation is not described below. This
means that the device must be serviced by a specialist servicing
point for this purpose.
CAUTION! Where solvent is used for cleaning, avoid contact of
the solvent with skin and eyes. Use personal protective equip-
ment.
