COVER REPLACEMENT
Holding the cover in the above locations,
replace the cover. Replacement is the
opposite sequence as removal.
CAUTION – Ensure the cover is properly
engaged behind the two clips upon
replacement. Failure to do this may
result in the cover falling off the
product which could potentially lead to
injury.
RENEWING STICKY BOARD
SWITCH OFF THE MACHINE BEFORE
SERVICING.
The sticky board should be changed
when full or at least every 6-8 weeks.
Regular inspections of the sticky board are
recommended, as it is not visible in normal
operation.
Remove the old sticky board by lifting
it out of the guides on the reverse side
of the cover. This can be done with the
cover in place for a faster board change, or
alternatively the cover can be unclipped
and removed, giving better access to
the glue board if required (see COVER
OPERATION).

Always install PestWest branded glue
boards to ensure peak efficiency. The
Sunburst TAB uses the same size glue board
as all other units in the Sunburst range.
When being used with the TAB, the sticky
board has a perforated central tear out
section which must be removed to allow
more UV light to escape from the trap, to
improve its attractiveness to flies.

To remove this central tear out section,
firstly peel back the release paper from
the sticky side of the board, until the tab
section is exposed (see diagram above).
From the reverse (non sticky) side of the
board, push through the tab feature. This
tab can now be used to tear out the central
section along the perforated edges. The
release paper can now be fully removed
and discarded, along with the central
section of the glue board.
Once prepared, the new board can then be
slid into the guides on the reverse side of
the cover. Ensure the glue surface is facing
towards the lamp.
CHANGING TUBES
SWITCH OFF THE MACHINE BEFORE
SERVICING.
Once the cover has been removed (see
COVER OPERATION), grasp the tube at the
end near the metal clip, and pull upwards
whilst waggling in either direction until it
ejects out of the holder. Installation is the
opposite procedure to removal. Ensure the
lamp is fully engaged in the holder before
turning the unit back on.
