• Dry all accessories thoroughly and re-assemble in the
oven. Plug the oven into the socket and you are ready to use
your new toaster oven.
• After reassembling your oven, we recommend that you
run it at the highest temperature on the toast function for
approximately 15 minutes to eliminate any packing residue
that may remain after shipping. This will also remove any
traces of odour which were initially present.
NOTE
Initial start-up operation may produce a mild odour and a
small amount of smoke. This is normal and harmless. It
is due to the burning of the protective substance applied
to the heating elements in the factory.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its after-sales department or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid any danger.
• Reference should be made to the following paragraph in
the instructions for details on how to clean surface which
come into contact with food.
