INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Fits: 2009 - 14 Toyota Tacoma Pickups
Kit Includes:

T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Open the vehicles rear tailgate and remove the vehicles tail lights
carefully pry the housings away from the vehicle being careful not to
break the alignment tabs. Beginning on the left (Driver' s ) side locate
the vehicle' s wiring harness. There will be connectors matching the
ends of the T-Connector.
3. Beginning with the left (drivers) side, disconnect the vehicle
harness connectors, taking care not to damage the locking tabs.
Check the connectors for dirt and debris and clean if necessary.
4. Position the T-Connector ends with the Yellow wire between the
separated vehicle connectors. Press the T-Connector ends firmly into
the vehicle harness connectors until they lock into place. Take care
not to damage the locking tabs.
5. Beginning on the Driver' s side, route the T-Connector end with
green wire and the 4-Flat connector out through the hole between
bumper and body. Route the 4-Flat underneath the bumper. Route
the T-Connector end with the green wire to the passenger' s side and
up through the opening. Repeat steps 3 & 4 with T-Connector ends
containing the green wire.
6. Locate a clean accessible mounting location on the vehicle near
the wiring harness ends within reach of the white wire and ground
ring. Remove any debris or undercoating to expose a clean metal
surface and drill a 3/32" hole.
Caution: Take care not to drill through the body or any exposed
surface.
7. Mount the white wire using the ground screw provided.
8. Disconnect the vehicle's negative(-) battery cable.
9. Route the 12 gauge black wire from the battery compartment
under the vehicle along the frame shown in Figure 2 to the black
box on T-Connector. Secure the wire to vehicle using cable ties
provided.
Caution: When routing wire through metal or tother sharp
surfaces always utilize and existing grommet, provide a
grommet or insulate the wire from the hole with silicone rubber.
10. Cut the Yellow inline fuseholder and strip 5/16" of the
insulation from one end and attach the 3/8" ring terminal using a
crimping tool.
11. On the other end of the fuseholder strip 5/16" of the
insulation and crimp the yellow butt connector provided
and attach it to the 12 gauge black wire.
12. With the fuse removed, attach the 3/8" ring terminal to the
vehicles positive(+) battery terminal shown in Figure 4.
Warning: Do not attempt to connect the black power wire to
the vehicle fuse panel or any other accessory wiring. Failure
to connect directly to the vehicle battery could cause vehicle
damage and/or trailer lighting failure.

13. At rear of the vehicle, strip 5/16" of insulation from the
black 12 gauge wire and connect it to the butt connector on
the red wire on the tail light converter.
14. Reattach the vehicle Negative(-) battery wire.
15. Place the 10 amp fuse into the fuse holder installed in
Step 10.
16. Confirm correct operation with a test light or by using a
trailer.
17. Secure the T-Connector black converter box using the
double-sided tape and/or the 15" cable tie provided. Secure
the remainder of the T-Connectors wires with the remaining
cable ties provided to prevent damage or rattling.
18. Re-install all previously removed parts from
the preceeding steps.
INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
Español:
1. Lea las instrucciones a fondo antes de comenzar.
2. Abiertos los vehículos alzan la puerta posterior y quitan la
palanca de las luces de la cola de los vehículos cuidado samente
las cubiertas lejos del vehículo, teniendo cuidados de no romper la
alineación tabula. Comenzando por el lado izquierdo (del
conductor), localice el cableado harness. There del vehículo será
conectadores que emparejan los extremos del T-Conectador.
3. Comenzando con el lado izquierdo (de los conductores),
desconecte los coectadores del arnés del vehículo, tomando
cuidado para no dañar las lengüetas de fijación. Compruebe los
conectadores para saber si hay suciedad y ruina y limpie en caso de
necesidad.
4. Coloque los extremos del T-Conectador con el alambre amarillo
entre los conectadores separados del vehículo. Presione los extremos
del T-Conectador firmemente en los conectadores del arnés del
vehículo hasta que se traban en lugar. Tome el cuidado para no dañar
las lengüetas de fijación.
5. Que comienzan por el lado del conductor, encaminan el extremo
del T-Conectador con el alambre verde y el conectador 4-Flat hacia
fuera a través del agujero entre el tope y el cuerpo. Encamine el 4-Flat
por debajo del tope. Encamine el extremo del T-Conectador con el
alambre verde al lado del pasajero y suba con la abertura. Repita los
pasos 3 y 4 con el T-Conectador que contiene el alambre verde.
6. Localizan una localización accesible limpia del montaje en el
vehículo cerca de los extremos del arnés de cableado dentro del
alcance del alambre blanco y ojal el poner a tierra. Quite cualquier
ruina o mano interior para exponer una superficie limpia del metal
y para perforar un agujero del 3/32".
Precaución: Tome el cuidado para no perforar a través del
cuerpo o de cualquier superficie expuesta.
7. Monte el alambre blanco usando el tornillo y el ojal de tierra
proporcionados.

8. Desconecte el vehículo Negativo (-) cable de la batería.
9. Dirija el cable negro de calibre 12 de la batería
compartimiento debajo del vehículo a lo largo del marco para el
negro caja convertidora se muestra en la Figura 3. Asegure el
cable al vehículo usando las ataduras de cables proporcionadas.
Precaución: Cuando pase el cable a través de metal o puntiagudo
superficies, siempre utilice un ojal existente, proporcionar una
ojal o aísle el cable del agujero con silicona caucho.
10. Pele 5/16 "del aislamiento de cada extremo del portafusibles
en línea y adjunte la 3/8" terminal de anillo en un extremo con una
herramienta de engaste.
11. En el otro extremo del portafusibles engarce el conector de tope
amarillo y adjuntar otro lado del conector de tope al cable negro de
calibre 12.
12. Con el fusible quitado, una el terminal de anillo de 3/8 "para los
vehículos (+) de la batería positivo mostrado en la Figura 5 adjuntarlo
al cable negro de calibre 12.
Advertencia: No intente conectar el cable de alimentación negro
al el panel de fusibles del vehículo o cualquier otro cableado
accesorio. Si no se conectarse directamente a la batería del
vehículo podría causar vehículo daños y / o falta de la
iluminación del remolque.
13. En la parte trasera del vehículo, pele 5/16 "del aislamiento de la
Negro 12 calibre del cable y conectarlo con el conector del extremo
en Red alambre en el convertidor de luz trasera.
14. Vuelva a colocar el vehículo negativo (-) cable de la batería.
15. Coloque el fusible de 10 amperios en el sostenedor del fusible
instalado en el Paso 11.
16. La operación correcta con una luz de prueba o usando un
remolque.
17. Asegure todos los cables mediante bridas previstas. Los
conectores en T recuadro negro debe ser asegurado en una superficie
limpia y plana o atadura de cables de bastidor del vehículo.
18. Vuelva a colocar los elementos retirados durante la instalación.
