Valve Stem

Handle
Using a 5/64" hex wrench, remove the setscrew from handle.
Unthread the handle from the valve stem.
Remove the following components from the valve stem: spring, ball joint, friction
cup, sliding disk, and bearing. Set the components aside.
Unthread the escutcheon and set aside.
Valve Body
Using the valve assembly tool (provided with the faucet), remove the threaded
ring. Set the threaded ring aside.
Push the valve stem up to relieve built-up pressure.
Thread the valve assembly tool onto the valve body.
NOTE: Residual water may be present within the housing.
Pull the valve assembly tool toward you to extract the valve body from the
housing. Discard the valve body.
Retrait
Poignée
Avec une clé hexagonale de 5/64", retirer la vis de retenue de la poignée.
Dévisser la poignée de la tige de manœuvre.
Retirer les composants suivants de la tige de manœuvre: ressort, rotule, coupelle
de frottement, disque glissant et anneau. Mettre les composants de côté.
