Installation
Waterway Tubes

Valve Body
Inspect the O-rings on the waterway tubes. If replacement is necessary, install then
lubricate the new O-rings (provided).
Using lubricant (provided), lubricate then install the O-rings onto the valve body.
With the notches of the threaded ring facing toward you, partially thread the
threaded ring onto the valve body.
Position the valve body with (1) the valve stem in the up position and (2) the
holes on the backside of the valve body aligned with the waterway tubes.
Insert the valve body into the housing.
Using a straight edge, adjust and hold the top of the valve body flush with the
finished wall.
WARNING: Risk of property damage. At the maximum mixer valve extension, a
stop will be encountered. To avoid leakage, do not extend the mixer valve beyond
this stop. If the mixer valve needs to be extended further, installation of the deep
rough-in valve body kit (1107027) is required. If the mixer valve needs to be
recessed further, installation of the shallow rough-in valve body kit (1107026) is
required.
Using the valve assembly tool, fully tighten the threaded ring.
Handle
Apply plumbers putty or other suitable sealant to the back surface of the
escutcheon. Refer to the putty or sealant manufacturer's application instructions.
