Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING
•
Wear rubber gloves when cleaning.
•
Allow the oven to cool until it is tepid before cleaning.
•
Do not clean the unit using steel wool.
•
Do not use caustic cleaning agents.
•
Make sure that no cleaning agent remains behind in the unit.
•
Treat the exterior of the interior window with a soft cleaning agent to protect the present
reflective layer.
•
Do not use any cleansers that contain citric acid.

Do not clean the unit using a water hose.
•
Remove the plug from the wall socket during maintenance and cleaning.
•
To ensure hygiene and an optimum condition of the unit it is important to adhere to a fixed
cleaning pattern from the very beginning.
•
Daily wipe out the oven, making sure that no crumbs, seeds or other residues stick to the
oven.
•
The unit can best be cleaned shortly after use while it is still tepid.
•
Fri-Jado Cleaner is a special cleaning agent for cleaning the unit.
5.1.
Daily maintenance
WARNING
•
Preferably do not use any other cleaning agent than Fri-Jado Cleaner. Fri-Jado has
carefully selected and tested the cleaning agent.
•
Prepare the cleaning agent in the proper proportions; see the package.
•
Allow the oven to cool to avoid burning.
1. Remove the baking trays and/or racks and the beams from the oven.
2. Clean the racks and/or baking trays and the beams with hot water to which a suitable cleaning agent
has been added. Preferably use Fri-Jado Cleaner, except with aluminium baking trays.
3. Remove the soap residues from the rack and/or the baking tray and the beams with sufficient hot
water.
4. Sweep crumbs, seeds and other residual from the oven.
5. Clean the interior of the oven with a moist cloth with cleaning agent.
6. Also clean the area beneath the oven.
