Safety Instructions

WARNING: When using battery operated tools, ba-
sic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, leaking batteries, and personal
injury, including the following.
Read all these instructions before operating this
product and save these instructions.

For Safe Operation

1. Keep Work Area Clean
Clutterd areas and benches invite injuries.
2. Consider Work Area Environment
Don't expose power tools to rain. Do not use power tools in
damp or wet locations. Keep work area well lit.
WARNING! Do not use tool in presence of
flammable liquids or gases.
3. Guard Against Electric Shock
Prevent body contact with grounded surfaces. For example:
pipes, radiators, ranges, refrigerator enclosures.
4. Keep Children Away
Do not let visitors contact tool or extension cord. Keep all chil-
dren and unauthorized adults away from the work area. Only
battery operated screwdriver operators should handle the
tools and touch the electrical cord.
5. Store Batteries or Idle Tools
When not in use, battery operated screwdrivers and batteries
should be stored separately in a dry, high or locked up place,
out of reach of children. Ensure that battery terminals cannot
be shorted by other metal parts such as screws, nails etc.
6. Don't Force Tool
Let the screwdriver operate at the rate for which it was intend-
ed. Normal rate of operation will permit safe completion of the
job.
