17. Stay Alert
Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not oper-
ate the battery operated screwdriver when you are tired.
18. Check Damaged Parts
Parts that may be damaged should be carefully checked be-
fore further use. Check for alignment of moving parts, free
running of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting and any
other conditions that may affect its operation. A guard or any
other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or re-
placed by an authorized service center unless otherwise indi-
cated elsewhere in this instruction manual. Replace defective
switches at an authorized service center. Do not use the bat-
tery operated screwdriver if the switch does not turn the
screwdriver on and off.
19. Warning
The use of any accessory or attachment, other than those
recommended in this instruction manual, may present a risk
of personal injury.
Ensure that the battery pack is correct for the battery operat-
ed screwdriver. Ensure that the outside surface of the battery
pack and screwdriver is clean and dry before plugging into
charger. Ensure that batteries are charged using the correct
charger recommended by the manufacturer. Incorrect use
may result in a risk of electric shock, overheating or leakage
of corrosive liquid from the battery.
20. Repair the Battery Operated Screwdriver by a
Qualified Person
Repairs should only be carried out by qualified persons using
original spare parts. Unauthorized repair may result in dan-
ger to the user.
21. Disposal of Battery
Ensure that the battery from the battery operated screwdriver
is disposed of safely as instructed by the manufacturer.
22. Avoid Contact if Liquid is Ejected from the Battery
Flush with water if liquid is accidentally ejected from the bat-
tery and comes in contact with the body. Seek medical help
if liquid comes in contact with sensitive areas like the eyes.
23. Wear Ear Protectors When Using the Tool for
Extended Periods of Time.
