AQUA DET 2 pump is designed to dispense chemicals for warewashing machine with 2 solenoid valves
(charge and top-up). The pump has its own electronic circuit boards that controls all the injections of
products that are delivered to the warewash machine via 2 peristaltic pumps. The flow of each pump can be
changed from ~10 to 100% by rotating 2 internal trimmers that vary the rate of rotation of the motor. AQUA
DET 2 is equipped with 2 peristaltic pumps with polypropilene box.

 N° 89/336/CEE regarding "electromagnetic compatibility" and subsequent modifications N°
92/31/CEE, 93/68/CEE, 93/97/CEE
 N° 73/23/CEE regarding "low voltages", as also the subsequent modification N°93/68/CEE
 N° 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE, 2003/108/CE " RoHs and WEEE directive "
The operating principle of a peristaltic pump is based on the pressure against a soft tube mounted into a
housing. The pump consists of a rotor which is fitted with rollers on its ends which compresses the tube. As
the fluid travels along the tube, the fluid sucked in, is ejected into the delivery line. This process is then
repeated by the next arm of the rotor. The flow depends on the speed of rotation of the motor and on the
diameter of the tube. By unscrewing the central knob on the front panel of the pump it is possible to remove
the transparent cover and gain access to the tube.

Detergent pump (SX pump)
Connect the PVC 4x6 tube (internal diameter 4 mm, external 6 mm) to the suction nipple (1).
Insert the foot filter to the other end of the tube.
Connect the PVC 4x6 tube (internal diameter 4 mm, external 6 mm) to the delivery nipple (1).
Insert the PP Detergent Injection fitting to the other end of the tube.
Tighten nuts (3 and 4) (see Fig. 2).
