R. Insert the dovetail profile of the actuator into the same clamp screws, making sure that it
fits correctly into the hole in the profile, thus allowing the actuator to slide along its entire
axis (Fig. 6).
S. Now position the actuator so that the hole made in the rack fits inside the front connection
bracket. Insert the M6x25 screw in the bracket and in the hole of the rack; then fix the
self-locking nut with two 10 mm hex keys.
T. Manually move the actuator along its axis to close the window and press the seals well.
Tighten the screws of the clamp previously only fitted, adjusting the actuator in line with
the window. Recommended tightening torque 4-5 Nm.
U. At this point it is possible to power the actuator to perform a complete opening and closing
test of the window. After closing, check that the window is completely closed by inspecting
the compression of the seals.
V. The actuator limit stop position during closure is established automatically. The device
exerts a traction that guarantees the perfect compression of the seals even in large
windows.

Installation on domes, skylights or Shed windows

10.4.
When installing the actuator on this type of window, follow the instructions for "Installation
on top-hung opening window" in § 10.3 above.
Installation of actuator and rod (or drive) with connection

bar
RACK MAX 650 actuators can be connected in tandem using a rod without a motor, using a
mechanical connection bar. The movement of one actuator is mechanically linked to the rod
so that motion is transmitted uniformly and at the same speed.
It is possible to assemble two or more actuators with one or more synchronized motors to
the window frame, depending on the force requirements.
To assemble, proceed as follows:
F. Mark the assembly c/c distance of the two actuators on the window, following the
dimensions indicated in § 10.2.
G. Position the actuator support brackets, mark the drilling points, drill the window and
assemble the brackets (see explanation in § 10.2).
H. Now position the front brackets, mark the drilling points, drill the
window and assemble the front brackets (see explanation in §
10.2).
I. Assemble the actuators
J. Assemble the connection bar by performing the following steps:
▪ Insert the connection bar first into one and then into the other
actuator. Make sure that the bar protrudes from each actuator
by at least 2 millimeters (Fig. 7).
