3. BEFORE INSTALLATION

3.1 Installation
•
It requires a space of approx. 50x50cm, so that the level switch can move freely and operate easily.
•
Dry running is completely prohibited.
•
Raise the pump for adjustment, making use of a securely fastened rope. It is forbidden to start the pump
for more than 10 minutes after closing the outlet.
•
To avoid contamination, the pump should not be in direct contact with the ground, it should be at least
3 cm above the ground.
•
Make sure that the pump runs under water at a minimum depth of 20cm.
4. USE
Once connected to the mains, the submersible pump is automatically switched on and off by the level
switch:
•
The pump starts working when the fluid raises the level switch all the way up. (1)
•
The pump stops when the level switch drops down. (2)
The cable of the level switch can be moved by the cable holder (3) to adjust the distance between the on
and off positions of the pump.
•
The level switch with a short cable distance between the on
and off position shall be off.
•
The level switch with a long cable distance between the on
and off position shall be far away.
Caution:
The level switch cannot be moved to either side in dry operation.
