OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Switching On and Setting Temperature
1.
Insert the plug into the power socket. The power light will turn on.
2.
Turn the power dial to the desired setting:
FAN – Fan only mode
LOW – Low heat mode (900W)
MEDIUM – (1300W)
HIGH – High heat (2000W)
3.
Turn the temperature control dial until you hear a click, which means the unit is on. Continue
turning the dial to your desired temperature. The temperature control dial acts as a
thermostat. Once the room has reached the desired temperature, the unit will switch off.
Fan Only Mode
For fan only mode, turn the power and fan control dial to FAN MODE.
Switching Off
1.
Turn the power and fan control dial to the OFF position.
2.
Turn the temperature control anticlockwise to the lowest setting.
3.
Remove the power plug from the power socket.
Overheat Protection
If the heater overheats, the thermostat built into the appliance will automatically cut off the power
supply to the heater and the heater will turn off. The heater will need to cool down for 10-20
minutes. One the heater has cooled down it can again be used normally. Overheating of the
appliance can occur during improper use or in certain environmental conditions.
Tip-over Protection
When the heater is knocked over or tipped onto its side, the safety switch will automatically cut off
the power supply to the heater. Power will return to normal when the unit has been placed in an
upright position and onto an even surface.
