3.2. Preparation for operation

POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
Place the unit in a way that ensures good air circulation. It is recommended that
sensors be spaced in different locations. Keep the unit away from any hot surfaces.
Always keep the unit out of reach of children and persons with reduced mental,
sensory or intellectual functions.
It is recommended that a sensor installed outdoors be hung on a wall, facing north,
and placed in the shade. Direct sunlight and radiant heat may cause erroneous
measurement readings.
The sensor is not waterproof, so do not place it in water or other liquids.
