thermometer.
For best results from your instrument :
„ read these operating instructions carefully,
„ comply with the precautions use.
In the European Union, this product is subject to
selective collection and recycling at end-of-life as
waste electric and electronic equipment under
directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE): this equipment
must not be treated as an ordinary household
waste.
Risk of danger. Refer to the operating instructions
before using the instrument.
Risk of laser radiation; do not look at the LASER
beam; LASER power < 1mW; Wavelength
650 nm; class II LASER per standard IEC 60825.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

If this instrument is damaged or a part is missing, please
contact your dealer immediately.
Failure to observe the instructions or precautions of use may
impair the protection provided by the instrument.
You must refer to this data sheet whenever you see a hazard
symbol.
To avoid laser radiation, injury, or damage to the instrument,
and make sure that your use of the thermometer is risk-free,
follow the safety advice below:
„ Do not aim the laser sight at anyone's eyes.
„ Do not place the thermometer on or near objects of which
the temperature is >65°C/150°F.
„ If the thermometer is exposed to large variations of ambient
temperature, wait for the temperature to stabilize, then wait
30 minutes before resuming the measurement, to attain the
specified accuracy.
„ Let any condensation that might form on the lens of the
measurement orifice of the thermometer evaporate before
resuming the measurement.
„ Do not expose the thermometer to strong electric or magne-
tic fields, which can cause measurement errors (avoid, for
example, induction heaters, arc welding equipment, etc.).
„ Comply with the climatic environmental conditions (see §5)
„ Keep the lens perfectly clean.
