7. Repair
All repair works must be carried out by suitably qualified and competent persons.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced only by specialized personnel and duly
authorized by the manufacturer.
In order to access the machine's interior, take off the side panels, the lower tray or the upper tray,
depending on what part of the machine's interior you want to reach.
Only use authentic spare parts.
In order to take off the side panels, loosen the screw on the side panel's lower part. Extract the screw on
the upper part and take out the springs.
Take off the right side panel in order to access the pressostat, the safety thermostat and the heating
element.
Take off the left side panel in order to access the manometer, the electronic unit, the water gauge, the
motor and the pump.
The lower tray is not fixed to the machine's body. Take out the tray in order to access the motor block, the
main switch and the volumetric counters.
Extract the upper tray in order to access the groups, keyboards and the switches.
The upper tray is fixed to the machine's body with a screw in the middle of the tray. Loosen the screw in
order to take out the tray.
8. Alerts (CV models)
8.1.
Time out during water filling
CV MODELLS
When the water level sensor in the boiler doesn't detect water, the machine automatically restarts the
water filling. The counter controls the duration of the water filling. If the filling takes longer than the
preprogrammed time (TIME OUT), the machine automatically interrupts the filling. All LEDs on the
keyboard blink as alert. In order to deactivate this alert, switch off the machine and switch it on again.
SEMI-AUTOMATIC MODELS
During the water filling, the red signal light is blinking until the maximum water level has been reached.
In case the maximum level has not been reached within 180 seconds, the water filling is automatically
interrupted and the red signal light turns on (without blinking). In case this error recurs, check the water
level probes and the water entry block for problems.
8.2.
Time out during drink production
When the machine produces a drink with a pre-programmed portion (keys 1-4), a volumetric counter
measures the water volume used for the drink production with electronic impulses. If the counter does
not receive any impulse for more than 5 seconds, the LED on the key that corresponds with the selected
drink starts to blink (but the production continues). If the counter still does not receive any impulse for
more than 1 minute, the drink production is automatically stopped.
