In the event that the usual operating conditions change substantially in terms of ambient tem-
perature, nominal operating temperature, air flow rate to be supplied or a higher power resistor
is required, it is recommended that the following be carried out a self-learning adjustment pro-
cedure is recommended.
During the self-learning process, a warm-up is performed, exceeding the setpoint temperature,
and the proportional, integral and derivative constants required for efficient control of the com-
pressed air heating are set.
It is recommended to always start the self-learning process when the unit is completely cold, after
a long standstill, in order to avoid the influence of residual heat build-up in the heating element.
The procedure for running the self-learning session is as follows:
1.- Press and hold down the "SEL" button for 1 second ("MAnU OFF"
AT 0
appears on the display.
0000
2.- Intermittently press the down arrow until the display shows "AT 0".
3.- Use the "SEL" buttons to change the value "0" to "1".
4.- Press the "SEL" button to start the self-learning process.
5.- Press and hold the "SEL" button for 2 seconds to return to the temperature display mode. If
you do not keep it pressed, it will automatically return to the temperature display mode.
Once the self-learning process has finished, it is not necessary to carry it out again as long as the
usual working conditions (ambient temperature, nominal working temperature, air flow rate to be
heated or resistance power) do not change substantially.
It is normal that during the self-learning process temperatures well above the nominal tempera-
ture value are recorded.
It is not recommended to use the equipment in production during the self-learning process.
Pay special attention to the "Ready" light and do not work when the "Ready" light is off.
This overheating is not a regulation defect. In order to work with a more uniform temperature, it
is recommended that you do not stop the air consumption during stops and do not make long
stops (more than 2 min.) during work.

10.4.- Programming of the "Ready" light

The illuminated "Ready" light indicates that the equipment is within the working temperature
range, thus facilitating control over the working conditions.
By default, the "Ready" LED is factory set to light up when the temperature is within the limits (+
3°C) of the nominal temperature. Thus, if the nominal temperature is set at 40°C, the pilot light
will come on when it reaches 37°C and it will go out if for any reason the temperature has risen
above 42°C or fallen below 37°C.
If you need a more or less precise control than the default setting, you can adjust the program-
ming to the desired values as follows:
1.- Press and hold the "SEL" button for 1 sec.
2.- Keep pressing the button
until "AL 1 3" appears on the display..
