Setting the temperature
Press the UP or DOWN button to set the target temperature. If you have set a
weekly timer, you can also adjust the temperature manually. However, this will
be overwritten with the programmed target temperature when the next heating
period starts.
Select heating mode
Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds to select SMART mode or TIMER
ON/OFF mode. When you turn on the remote control for the first time, the display
shows OFF for both modes.
•
TIMER ON/OFF means that the programmed timer and temperature settings
of 1-5 (Monday-Friday), 6 (Saturday) and 7 (Sunday) are turned ON or OFF.
Symbols 1-5, 6 and 7 are shown at the bottom of the mode display.
•
SMART ON means that the remote control calculates the temperature
difference between the room and the target temperature 3 hours before the
programmed start time and decides by how much earlier the heating must be
switched on to reach the target temperature on time.
•
The SMART MODE has a monitoring function that detects open windows. If
open windows are detected, the heating is automatically switched off or on
if the room temperature continuously drops or rises above 1.5 °C within 3
minutes.
SET button
With the SET key you can set the weekly timer and temperature, intelligent
adaptive start time and FAV temperature. To do this, press and hold the SET button
for 3 seconds.
Note: A completed setting does not automatically start the heating. The heater
will not be turned on until the on timer is active.
Setting the weekly timer
First set the time for switching the heating on and off for days 1-5 (Monday-
Friday). Press HIGH to set the hour for the timer and DOWN to set the minutes for
the timer (15 minutes per press). Then press SET to save the setting and adjust
the temperature. When you are finished, press SET to make the settings for 6
(Saturday) and 7 (Sunday) in the same way. Finally, press SET again to save the
settings.
