Start-up and use

BOTTLE AGEING COMPARTMENT

The refrigerated wine cellar consists of an ageing compartment designed to ensure that
wines are preserved in ideal conditions.
The temperature has been set in the factory to a level considered as ideal in most cases,
i.e. 15°C in the upper compartment.
Wine is a complex product obtained through a long and slow process and specific condi-
tions are required in order to enjoy it at its best.
All wines are stored at the same temperature but are served and tasted at different tem-
peratures, according to their type.
Therefore, just as with natural wine-making cellars, the overall storage temperature of the
refrigerated wine cellar is not as important as its constancy over time. Wine preservation
is ideal at any temperature, provided there are no temperature variations.

DOUBLE AND SINGLE TEMPERATURE ZONE OPERATION

The cellar has been designed to operate either with two different temperature zones or a
single temperature zone, depending on the customer's needs.
For dual temperature operation, the black bottle rack must be placed on the guides of the
fourth shelf (counting from the top down), then the desired temperature should be set
in the upper zone. It should be noted that once the desired temperature is reached, the
temperature in the lower compartment will be about 6 degrees Celsius higher than the
set temperature (the temperature of the lower zone cannot be set independently).
Note: to preserve the wine properly, we recommend setting the thermostat temperature of
the top compartment to 9°C, to obtain a temperature of 15°-16°C in the lower compartment.
For single temperature zone operation, the black bottle rack should be removed and re-
placed with the additional rack (similar to the other wood-colour racks already installed).
It is advisable to store the unused rack in a dry, cool place in order to prevent any damage
by moisture or other atmospheric agents, as this would make it unfit for future use.
