2. Ensure that the drain valve of the drain tank is closed.
3. Open the drain valve of the control tank.
4. Open the suction hose valve to equal the pressure of the control tank with the
surroundings. Now the oil should flow to the drain tank.
5. After oil draining is complete, close the drain valve of the control tank and the
suction hose valve.
3.4.3. EMPTYING OF DRAIN TANK:
1. Close all valves of the device.
2. Connect the compressed air source to the appropriate connection.
3. Slowly open the valve upstream of the connection.
4. Place a vessel under the drain tank drain valve and open it slowly.
5. After the draining is finished, disconnect the pressure valve.
CAUTION! When emptying the drain tank, hold the drain hose firmly to make sure
that the drain hose does not make unexpected movement due to fluid pressure.
Moreover, take precautions against splashing with escaping oil and aim the stream
at a suitable used oil container.
3.5. Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Store the device in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
b)
Regularly inspect the device for technical failure and damage.
c)
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
d)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or metal
scraper) as these may damage the surface of the device.
e)
Before each cleaning or maintenance operation, and when the equipment is
not in use, disconnect the pressure hose and open the valves to equalize the
pressure.
f)
Used oil shall be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
g)
Clean the device stained with oil on the outside with a soft cloth or a brush and
using, for example, gasoline or other non-aggressive degreasing and cleaning
agents for workshop applications.
