Denotes risk of personal injury, loss

Always wear hearing protection. The
effects of noise can cause hearing
loss.
Wear a dust mask. When working
with wood and other materials,
harmful dust may be generated.
Work with asbestos containing
materials is not permitted!
Wear safety glasses. When working
with electric power tools, sparks,
splinters, chips and dust particles
may be generated and these can
cause loss of sight.
CE stands for "Conformité
Européenne", which means "In
accordance with EU Regulations".
With the CE marking, the
manufacturer confirms that this
Electric tool complies with the
applicable European directives.
Do not dispose of electric power
tools with domestic refuse.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The machine must not be damp and must not
be operated in a wet environment. Wear pro-
tective gloves and sturdy footwear.
Hold power tool by insulated gripping sur-
faces, when performing an operation where
the cutting accessory may contact hidden
wiring.

Cutting accessory contacting a "live" wire may
make exposed metal parts of the power tool
"live" and could give the operator an electric
shock.
Do not saw materials containing
asbestos!

Wear protective goggles when working
with materials which produce large
amounts of chips.
•
Wear a protective mask when sawing
other fibrous materials.
•
Remove adjusting keys and wrenches
before turning the tool on.
•
Secure your workpiece with clamps.
•
Move machine towards the workpiece only
when switched on.
•
Always hold machine with both hands and
ensure that you have a safe footing while
working.
•
The machine may be operated only with
the foot plate mounted. When sawing, the
foot plate must always rest on the
workpiece.
•
Incorrect handling may damage the
machine. Therefore always comply with
the following instructions.
•
Use only sharp saw blades in perfect
condition; replace cracked, distorted or
blunt saw blades immediately.
•
Machine should only be switched on with
blade installed.
•
Do not attempt to stop the saw blade with
lateral pressure after switching off.
•
Only use genuine accessories.
INTENDED USE
Battery operated general-purpose reciprocat-
ing saw for work on wood, metal and plastics.
UNPACKING THE TOOL
•
Carefully unpack and inspect your cord-
less reciprocating saw. Familiarise yourself
with all its features and functions.
•
Ensure that all parts of the tool are present
and in good condition. If any parts are
missing or damaged, have such parts
replaced before attempting to use this
tool.
