Use as a barbecue starter
If you want to use the weed burner as a
barbecue starter, remove the extension shaft
and the extra handle.
Push the ignition nozzle (14) over the hot
air nozzle (12) and gently turn it so that it
is securely in place. The small holes in the
ignition nozzle must be facing downwards.
The barbecue starter looks as illustrated.
Place the barbecue charcoals or briquettes in
the barbecue.
Switch the barbecue starter on and select
heat setting II using the on/off button (9).
Allow the barbecue starter to heat up for 1
minute.
Hold the ignition nozzle around 10-20 cm
from the barbecue charcoals or briquettes,
which will ignite within a few minutes.
Note! Do not use solid or liquid relighters
at the same time as you are igniting
barbecue charcoals or briquettes using the
weed burner.
Concluding work
Once you have nished working, allow the
weed burner to run on heat setting I for a
minute before switching it off using the on/
off button (9). Unplug the appliance.
Push the stand (10) and put the weed burner
down on a non- ammable surface. Allow it
to rest on the stand so that the hot air nozzle
and nozzle do not touch anything.
Allow the weed burner to cool down fully
before putting it away.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the weed burner with a brush and
slightly damp cloth after use and always keep
its surfaces and vent holes clean.
Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents, as they may attack the plastic parts of
the weed burner.
Apply a thin layer of acid-free oil to the
nozzles and hot air nozzle before putting the
weed burner away.
