Use as a barbecue starter
Place the barbecue charcoals or briquettes in
the barbecue.
Attach the ignition nozzle (1) to the hot air
nozzle (13). Switch the weed burner on using
the on/off button (8). Select heat setting III
on the temperature selector (14). Allow the
weed burner to warm up for 45 seconds.
Lower the ignition nozzle towards the
barbecue charcoals or briquettes, which will
ignite within a few minutes.
NB! Do not use solid or liquid � relighters at
the same time as you are igniting barbecue
charcoals or briquettes using the weed
burner.

Concluding work

Once you have � nished working, push the
temperature selector to position I and allow
the weed burner to run for a few minutes so
that it cools down more quickly.
Push the hanger (11) out so that you can put
the weed burner down on a non-� ammable
surface.
Switch the weed burner off using the on/off
button (8) and unplug it.
Allow the weed burner to cool down fully
before putting it away.

Cleaning and maintenance

Clean the weed burner with a brush and
slightly damp cloth after use and always keep
its surfaces and vent holes (4) clean.
Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents, as they may attack the plastic parts of
the weed burner.
Apply a thin layer of acid-free oil to the weed
nozzle and hot air nozzle before putting the
weed burner away.
