5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

5.1 Cleaning
Warning When not in use or before cleaning disconnect the product from the electrical outlet.
Warning During cleaning or operation do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in
water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
Clean the product and all its accessories with a slightly moist fiber-free cloth. Dry all parts
afterwards.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the casing.
5.2 Cleaning the HEPA filter and dust container
1. Press the release button (6) and pull the handheld unit (3) from the stick unit (3).
2. Press the release for dust container (11) and remove the dust container (10).
3. Remove the filter holder (19) and HEPA filter (18) from the dust container (10).
4. Empty the dust container (10) over a bin.
5. Clean the dust container (10), filter holder (19) and HEPA filter (18) with clean water, if
necessary. Dry afterwards.
IMPORTANT Do not clean the HEPA filter (18) in washing machine or by using the hair
dryer. Risk of damage.

5.3 Cleaning the motorized floor brush

NOTE The vacuuming performance might decrease
overtime due to accumulation of lint, hairs or other
debris on the motorized floor brush (8). Clear the
obstructions in a regular intervals.
1. Use flat screwdriver to open lock located on the
side of the motorized floor brush (8) and remove
the brush roll.
2. Clean the obstructions and install the brush roll
back in a reverse order.
5.4 Battery removal for recycling
1. Press the release for dust container (11) and remove the dust container (10).
2. Loosen the 6 screws from the main unit and remove the outer cover.
3. Disconnect the battery cables and remove it from the main unit. Secure the cables with
an electrical tape.
4. Dispose the battery according to local regulations.
Battery disposal
Do not put used batteries, nickel cadmium, rechargeable, round cell or starter batteries
in with the household rubbish. Take them to an appropriate disposal/collection site.
