4. FILLING
THE WATER TANK (Fig. 2)
• If the water in your area is too hard, we
recommend that you use one part
distilled water and one part tap water.
Do not use battery water or water
mixed with starch, perfume, fabric
softener, etc.
• Place the iron in an upright position,
open the water inlet cover, fill the tank
up to the 'MAX' mark and then close
the cover.
• Plug the appliance into the mains and
select the desired temperature in
accordance with the instructions given
on the label of the garment to be
ironed. If you have any doubts
regarding the composition of the fabric,
start at a low temperature and test on a
hidden area of the garment. Gradually
increase the temperature until the
creases disappear without harming the
fabric.
The following symbols appear on the
temperature selector:
MIN Iron on
Synthetics, acrylics
Silk, rayon, wool
Cotton / linen
MAX Linen
• When the pilot light (4) switches off,
this indicates that the base has reached
the selected temperature.
5. DRY IRONING (Fig. 3)
1. Set the steam control button (7) to the dry
iron position .
2. SWhen you are dry ironing, you can use
the spray option at any moment, providing
there is water in the tank. (See sections
entitled 'Spray' and 'Filling the tank').

6. STEAM IRONING (Fig. 4)
• Turn the temperature selector (3) to the
steam position, which is located
between

times to activate the spray option.
8. EXTRA STEAM (Fig. 6)
Before ironing, press the extra steam
button (8) a few times to activate it. Wait
for five seconds between each press. The
temperature selector should be set to
