10. STORAGE

If the machine is not be used for a long period of time it is advisable to take the following
precautions:
• Empty the carburetor;
• Empty the motor of oil;
• Lubricate the cylinder introducing few drops of the same kind of oil used for the motor through
the plug hole and turning the motor over several times without starting it. If it is a Diesel
motor remove the injector by unscrewing the two bolts which fasten it to the head and pour a
little oil into the hole;
• Clean the motor and the machine thoroughly;
• Protect the teeth of the bar with the front protection and control that the blade doesn't
• When restarting the operations check that all security devices (motor-stop, reverse motion/PTO
and clutch lever stopper) are working.

dealers as given in the parts catalogue.
The serial number of the implements must also be given.
