3.11 Adjustable Back Length

The back length is adjustable to 32", 24", 26", 38"
and 40".
To Adjust the Back Length:
-Prior to removing and bolts, make note of the
bolt, nut and spacer orientation and reinstall them
with the same orientation.
-Remove the bolts on the back extension (located
near the wings)
-Raise or lower the back extension to correspond
with the holes in the backrest frame at the desired
back length. The wings are part of the back
extension to allow for proportionate changes to
the back length and wing location.
-Insert the bolts through their respective holes and
tighten.

3.12 Stand Assist Grips

The stand assist grips help facilitate safe sit to stand
transfers. The grips can be rotated downwards to
accommodate a dinner tray or be fully removed.
To Rotate/Adjust the Stand Assist Grips:
-Press in the detent pin.
-While depressing the pin, pull out the grip.
-Rotate downwards an insert the tube into the lower
receptacle.
To Remove the Stand Assist Grips
-Press the rear detent pin (behind the vinyl side pad)
-While depressing the pin, pull out the grip to release.
