2.2 General Safety information

PLEASE NOTE
Please observe the following general safety notices with regard to
the safe handling of the device:
 Use the appliance only as described in the user's guide to avo-
id possible injury from misuse.
 This device may be used by children aged 8 and above, if they
are supervised or have been instructed at to the safe use of
the device and have understood the resulting hazards.
 Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be perfor-
med by children unless they are at least 8 years old and are
supervised.
 The device and its connecting cable must be kept away from
children who are less than 8 years old.
 This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and know-
ledge if they have been given supervision or instruction con-
cerning the use of the appliance safely and they understand
the hazards involved.
 Children are not allowed to play with the device.
 Operate the appliance only in dry indoor areas.
 Do not operate the appliance unattended.
 Always unwind the power cord completely before use. When
doing so, ensure the power cord is not damaged by sharp
edges or hot objects.
