to brown slightly, try out your mixture in a first test waffle.
1.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant
surface. Ensure that the appliance is placed at
least 50 cm away from any other objects.

Plug the power cord into a wall socket. The red
LED 2 lights up and the appliance will start to
preheat. The green LED (3) lights up once the
operating temperature has been reached. The
appliance is now ready to operate.

Open the waffle iron. Open the waffle iron only by
its handles (9).
4.
Pour waffle batter into the baking tray until the recesses are covered (not overflowing).
5.
Close the waffle iron and turn it over.
6.
Allow the waffles to cook for about 5 minutes, depending on your tastes, then turn
the waffle iron over again.
7.
Carefully open the waffle iron. Open the waffle iron only by its handles (9).
8.
Check to see if the waffle is browned to your satisfaction.
9.
If the waffle is not yet cooked, close the waffle iron and continue cooking.
10.
When the waffle is cooked, carefully peel it off the hotplates with a heat-resistant
plastic or wooden kitchen utensil. Do not use sharp or metallic objects as they
can damage the non-stick coating of the hotplates.
11.
Close the waffle iron. When the green LED lights up, add waffle batter for the next
waffle.
12.
When finished, disconnect the power cord from the power outlet and leave the
appliance open until it has completely cooled.
Cleaning
Unplug the appliance from the power socket
and wait for it to cool down completely before
cleaning. Never immerse the appliance power
cord or plug in water or any other liquid. Do not
allow water to run directly over the hotplates.
