OPERATION
RIDGID SWEEP FEATURE (Fig. 7)
Your Wet/Dry Vac has the capability to be used as a
powered dust pan for quickly cleaning up dry debris.
IMPORTANT: The Expandable Hose (F) must be in the
storage position. The Hose must be attached to the Vac
Inlet Port and the SWEEP Inlet Port.
1. With the Battery Pack engaged into Wet/Dry Vac
Battery Pack Receptacle.
2. Locate the RIDGID SWEEP Dust Pan on the bottom
of the hose storage area.
3. While leaving the hose securely stored, turn the Vac
ON.
4. Sweep dirt and debris towards the RIDGID SWEEP
Dust Pan to quickly clean up the mess.
5. Once complete, remove the Powerhead Assembly
(A) and dump the Dust Drum (B) contents into the
proper waste disposal container.
6. The Dust Drum (B) should be emptied and cleaned
before storing your Vac.
NOTE: The RIDGID SWEEP feature works best picking
up dry debris. Using the RIDGID SWEEP feature to pick
up liquids is not recommended.

BLOWING FEATURE (Fig. 8)
Your Wet/Dry Vac has the capability to be used as a
Blower for yard work, patio cleanup and workshop
applications to blow sawdust and other debris.
1. Push down on the Side Battery Compartment Lid
Latch, located at the top left of the Powerhead
Assembly (A). Open the Side Battery Compartment
Lid to expose the Blower Port.

2. To Insert Hose: Insert the Expandable Hose (F)
with the Locking Tab end into the Vac Blower Port.
Push the Hose end straight into the Blower Port
until the Hose Locking Tab fully engages the Blower
Port Ridges.
3. With the Battery Pack engaged onto the Wet/Dry
Vac Battery Pack Receptacle. Turn Vac ON and you
are ready to use your Vac as a Blower.
4. To Remove the Hose from the Vac: Turn Vac OFF.
Rotate the end of the Expandable Hose (F) in either
direction to release the Hose Locking Tab from the
Blower Port. Press the Hose Locking Tab and pull
the Hose end straight out of the Blower Port.

To reduce the risk of injury to bystanders, keep
them clear of blowing debris.

Wear a dust mask if blowing creates dust which
might be inhaled.

To reduce the risk of hearing damage, wear ear
protectors when using the Vac/Blower for extended
time or in a noisy area.
