PROGRAMMABLE PARAMETERS:

All parameters, except the CAL parameter, are factory set and cannot be changed.
The CAL parameter must be modified only when the temperature indicated by the display does not correspond to the
reading of the door thermometer; in this case, add or eliminate the decimals necessary to calibrate the thermostat to the
thermometer. Note that 1° F is equal to 0.56° C, while 1° C is equal to 1.8° F.
HUMIDITY
To obtain the humidity during the incubation phase, it is sufficient to fill a basin with warm water and wait
4-5 hours for the water to heat up. Then check the value indicated by the hygrometer. To regulate the
humidity inside the incubator, it is necessary to vary the surface of the basins; increasing the water
evaporation surface increases the humidity and vice versa. During the hatching phase it is necessary to fill
the three basins
N.B.: The wet bulb hygrometer measures the water temperature and transforms it into air humidity.
Therefore, if the bulb remains dry, the hygrometer will read the temperature (not the humidity). It is
always necessary to check that the wick is well impregnated and put on the bulb. It is also necessary that
the wick is clean and not hardened by limestone. The correct values of hygrometry to respect according to
each species are reported in the table below:
VENTILATION
The incubator is equipped with a device for regulating the aeration which acts on the speed of the fan. During the
incubation period, the air circulation should be at its maximum (button set to Incubation). During the last two days of
hatching, the ventilation should be reduced (button on Hatching). Note that in case of weekly load of the machine, the fan
speed should not be reduced completely, in order not to damage the eggs which are in incubation phase. The machine is
