Sensors in the colour of the vehicle
The sensors can be ordered in the common Hymer vehicle colours as well as in black, please note the
specification of the sensor colours when ordering.
4 sensors are required per Parkpilot, so please order two sets of sensors in matching colours for each basic
Parkpilot system.
Adjusting the volume of the warning tones or switching off the warning tones
The volume of the warning tones can be adjusted on the underside of the LED display.
To do this, the display must be lifted.
Display mirrored / rotated 180 degrees
For certain vehicle types, the LED display can also be installed under the ceiling.
For this reason, the display also offers the option of rotating the distance display by 180° (display switch).
Troubleshooting / fault rectification
1. Self-diagnosis mode for fault detection
The parking pilot checks at each restart whether all 4 sensors can be detected.
If one of the sensors is defective or one of the cables is damaged, this is indicated by a warning tone followed by short beeps.
1 short beep: Sensor L1 (outside left) is defective or cannot be detected due to a cable break.
2 short beeps: Sensor L2 (centre left) is defective or cannot be detected due to a cable break.
3 short beeps: Sensor R2 (centre right) is defective or cannot be detected due to a cable break.
4 short beeps: Sensor R1 (outer right) is defective or cannot be detected due to a cable break.
Fault localisation / troubleshooting:
a) Check whether all plugs of the sensors are firmly connected.
