• Avoid accidental starting of the machine: the op-
erating button may not be pressed when inserting
the plug in an outlet. Use the tool attachment that
is recommended in this operating manual. This is
how to ensure that your machine provides optimum
performance.

8. Unpacking
• Open the packaging and carefully remove the de-
vice.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the pack-
aging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the device and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must
be informed immediately. Later claims will not be
recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the
operating instructions before using for the first time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original parts. Replace-
ment parts can be obtained from your dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number as
well as type and year of manufacture for your equip-
ment.

The device and the packaging material are not
children's toys! Do not let children play with plas-
tic bags, films or small parts! There is a danger of
choking or suffocating!

Before commissioning
Ensure that the device is stable and safe. The device
can be secured in a suitable place for safety. There are
2 holes (41) in the base of the enclosure for fixing on a
firm and level surface (Fig. 7). To do this, insert suitable
fixing material (not included in the scope of delivery)
corresponding to the base through the 2 holes (41).
Use the fixing material to fix the device to the base.
NOTE:
• Note that you have to fit
- the workpiece supports (11),
- the spark protectors (32)
- and the protective glasses (1)
for the grinding disc (12) and the polishing wheel (2)
respectively.
• Please note that you will need tools for assembly,
which are not included in the scope of delivery.
Installing the workpiece supports (Fig. 3)
Attach the workpiece supports (11) to the device using
the knurled screws (10) supplied.
