2. BEFORE USE
Install the beforesaid parts and components following these instructions. We recommend the
use of a hex wrench for the installation.

Before using the device for the first time, operate it for 10 minutes without any food on it. This
will help removing the scent that the device emits when used for the first time. The device may
also emit some smoke. Keep the room ventilated during this process.
3. OPERATION
Do not switch the device on until it is placed on a stable surface.
Once it is correctly placed, plug it into a power outlet. Now, the device is ready to be used.
Place the cheese on the cheese grilling plate, using the wooden spatulas and then move this
part under the electric heater.
The cheese grilling plate's height can be adjusted upwards or downwards, using the wooden
handles, to control the temperature. The temperature can also be controlled with the
thermostat.
After placing the cheese on the plate and adjusting the height, you can turn the thermostat to
start operating and adjust the desired temperature.
Meanwhile, the food can be placed on the top grill plate for grilling in the meantime.
Grilling time depends on the type of foodstuff and the desired doneness of the food (overdone,

cooked to perfection or undercooked).
Switch the device off when it is no longer going to be used.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
The cheese grilling plate and the top grill can be disassembled. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean
the product's surface.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.
The cheese grilling plate is dish-washer safe, but the top grill plate is not.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE), specifies that old household electrical appliances must
not be disposed of with the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances
must be collected separately, in order to optimize the recovery and recycling
of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and
the environment.
The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation to dispose
of the appliance correctly. If the product has a built-in battery or uses batteries, they should be
removed from the appliance and disposed of appropriately.
Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the
correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.
7. TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof
of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given
proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.
