position marked "OFF (O)". The second action cuts off the power supply to the motor.
The rotary switch has the position marked "OVER TURN". By turning and holding the rotary switch in this position, the motor will
rotate in the opposite direction to the normal direction of operation. This can help to remove jams in the grinder mechanism. If you
release the rotary switch, it will automatically return to the "OFF" position.
Product operation
Caution! When grinding meat, use only the pusher supplied with the product. NEVER push the meat by hand or use devices other
than those supplied with the product.
Place a container for the minced meat under the outlet.
The meat must be prepared by removing the skin, bones and cartilage. Cut the meat into pieces that will fi t into the grinder inlet.
A small amount of meat can be placed on the preparation tray.
Start the grinder motor.
Insert a piece of meat into the inlet and push it with a pusher not applying excessive force. Repeat for each piece of meat prepared
for grinding.
After fi nishing work, switch off the grinder motor by pressing the off switch; turn the rotary switch to the "OFF" position. Remove
the power supply cord plug from the socket.
Next, proceed with the product maintenance.
Caution! Avoid "dry" operation of the grinder; it is when the cutting mechanism is working but not grinding the meat. Such operation
results in faster wear of the cutting unit components.
The minced meat should escape smoothly from the grinder. Otherwise, or if the minced meat has the consistency of a paste,
check the possible causes of such operation. The lock nut is too tight. A blocked cutting plate that must be cleaned and reassem-
bled in the cutting unit. Blunt cutting blades that need to be sharpened and reassembled in the cutting unit.
Product maintenance
Caution! Every time before cleaning, switch off the product, unplug the power cord plug from the socket, wait for the appliance to
cool down and then proceed with maintenance.
Caution! Due to its intended use which is food preparation, the product should be maintained carefully. This will help to maintain
proper hygiene. The maintenance of the product should be carried out after each use.
Use only mild kitchen cleaning agents to clean it. NEVER use abrasive cleaning agents, e.g. cleaning powder or milk, or agents
containing corrosive substances. Do not use any solvents, petrol or alcohol to clean the product.
Dilute the cleaning agent with water, according to the instructions supplied with it. Then, apply it on a soft cloth and clean the
outside of the product and inside of the disc chamber.
Remove any residues of the cleaning agent with a soft cloth slightly soaked in clean water. Then, dry all surfaces with a dry, soft
cloth.
CAUTION! The product is not designed for water jet cleaning. Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
Remove the cutting unit from the grinder. Disassemble it and thoroughly clean all components of the meat residues. Make sure
that the openings in the cutting plates are thoroughly cleaned of the meat residues. You can use a plastic brush or a wooden
toothpick for this purpose. Do not use metal or sharp instruments for cutting plate cleaning.
After disassembly from the grinder, all cutting unit components and pusher can be cleaned under running water jet.
The remaining components of the product may only be cleaned with a cloth soaked in
a cleaning agent.
No part of the product is suitable for cleaning in dishwashers or under high-pressure water jets.
After maintenance, all parts of the product should be thoroughly dried.
Cutting blade sharpening
During operation, the cutting blades become dull. This is normal wear and tear and it is not subject to warranty claims. If deteriora-
tions in operations are observed, e.g. minced meat does not come out of the grinder smoothly or minced meat has the consistency
of paste, sharpen the cutting blades and smooth (splice) the surface of the cutting plates.
Since the edges of the cutting plate openings are also the cutting edge, always sharpen cutting plate and cutting blade together
(as the set). The edge of the cutting blade must adhere as closely as possible to the surface of the cutting plate.
Sharpening must be carried out in a specialised workshop.
Caution! A cutting plate with openings of 8 mm or less in diameter must not be machined to a thickness of less than 5 mm.
Transport and storage
If the product is not to be used for a longer period of time, turn it off and unplug the power cord from the socket. Thoroughly clean
the appliance. Leave the disc chamber cover open to thoroughly dry the inside of the disc chamber. After drying, close the cover
and secure it with a lock.
If stored, keep the product indoors, and make sure it is not exposed to dust, dirt, or moisture. It is recommended to store the
product in its original packaging.
