OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
POWER INSTRUCTIONS
The treadmill must be grounded. If the unit malfuntions or breacks, grounding provides
a path of least resistence eletric current which reduces the risk of eletric shock. The unit
is euipped with an appropriate power cord with an equipment ground wire and a plug
with a grounding pin.
Only bipolar plugs with grouding contact will be accepted (2P + T 10A de acordo com
NBR 14136). Any type of adaption for outlets that do not have a grounding pin is
prohibited. The outlets must always be installed in appropriate boxes that do not allow
their poles (of the outlet) to be exposed. All outlets must be connected to the grounding
pin. It is totally unacceptable to use the neutral wire (when included in the installation)
short-circuited to the ground wire.
ATTENTION!
Improper connection of the equipment grounding wire may result in a risk of
electric shock. Consult a qualified professional or maintenance personnel if
you do not know if the unit is properly grounded. Do not replace the original
treadmill plug.
If it does not fit the outlet, obtain a suitable outlet installed by a qualified
electrician.
CAUTION!
Accordig to NBR 5410, a thermomagnetic protection circuit breaker with the
following characteristics must be provided at the specific outlet whwre the
equipment will be conneted:
•Circuit Breaker: 10 Amperes - ACTIVATION CURVE B - For 220v networks.
•Circuit Breacker: 16 Amperes - ACTIVATION CURVE B - For 110v networks
The circuit breaker has the function of protecting the equipment in case of an
eletrical breakdown that causes a dangerous increase in the eletric current.
NOTE: THE BREAKER INSTALLATION MUST BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
NBR 5410 STANDARD, WHICH IS MANDATORY FOR LOW VOLTAGE
INSTALLATIONS. INSTALLATION IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSTALLER
AND THE USER.
