− "SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED PRODUCTS"
In a double-insulated product, two systems of insulation are
provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is pro-
vided on a double-insulated product, nor should a means for
grounding be added to the product. Servicing of a double-in-
sulated product requires extreme care and knowledge of the
system, and should be done only by qualified service person-
nel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated product must
be identical to those parts in the product. A double-insulated
product is marked with the words 'DOUBLE INSULATION' or
'DOUBLE INSULATED.'

Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installation or excessive line voltage may result in
an electric shock.
− Only connect the sewing machine if the supply voltage of the
power outlet corresponds to the specification on the rating plate.
− Only connect the sewing machine to an easily accessible pow-
er outlet so that you can quickly disconnect it from the power
supply in the event of a fault.
− Do not operate the sewing machine if it exhibits visible damage
or the power cord or DC connector/power plug is defective.
− If the power adapter's and the foot pedal's power cord is dam-
aged, it must be replaced with the same connector cable, which
can be obtained from the manufacturer or its after-sales support.
− Do not open the housing; instead, have a qualified profession-
al carry out the repairs. Contact a qualified workshop for this.
Liability and warranty claims are waived in the event of repairs
performed by the user, improper connection of the device or
incorrect operation.
