Attach the platter to the base unit.
Alignment marks
Center shaft
Marks have been placed in the positions that enable ideal pre-
cision for assembly of the center shaft and the platter. Adjust
the orientation of the platter so that the marks align when it is
installed.
o The center shaft cannot be turned before the platter is installed.
o When installing the platter, put it on slowly and be careful not
to catch any fingers between the platter and the base plate.

Remove the handles from the platter.

Remove the platter protection sheet.
Remove the arm base attachment thumbscrew
from the base unit.
