a. Locate and mark two consecutive studs
in the wall where you would like the
backboard to hang.
b. For the rim to be at regulation height,
draw a horizontal line 115 5/8" (293,68
cm) from the ground.
c. Measure up 8" (20,32 cm) from the line
and draw another horizontal line parallel
to the fi rst.
d. Line up the bend of a stud bracket (ESG)
with the lower horizontal line, making
sure the long slots in the bracket align
with the studs in the wall.
e. Secure the bracket to the wall by
inserting bolts or lag screws appropriate
for the wall (not included) through the
long slots in the bracket.
f. Secure the other stud bracket to the
studs in the wall, making sure that the
edge of the bracket lines up with the
upper horizontal line and that the slots in
the two brackets are aligned.

a. Repérer et marquer deux montants
consécutifs dans le mur pour
l'installation du panneau.
b. Pour avoir l'anneau à la hauteur
réglementaire, tracer une ligne
horizontale à 115 5/8 po, c'est-à-dire
293,68 cm du sol.
c. Mesurer 8 po, c'est-à-dire 20,32 cm,
au-dessus de la ligne et tracer une
autre ligne horizontale parallèlement
à la première ligne.
d. Aligner la pliure d'un support
de montant (ESG) avec la ligne
horizontale inférieure, en vérifi ant
que les fentes du support sont
bien alignées avec les montants du
mur.
e. Fixer le support au mur en insérant
les boulons ou tire-fonds adaptés
au mur (non compris) dans les
longues fentes du support.
f. Fixer l'autre support de montant
aux montants du mur, en vérifi ant
que le bord du support est aligné
avec la ligne horizontale supérieure
et que les deux supports sont
alignés l'un par rapport à l'autre.

a. Ubicar en el muro dos tirantes
consecutivos, para la instalación del
tablero.
b. Al instalar el aro a la altura
reglamentaria de 3,05 m, marcar una
línea horizontal a 2,94 m (115 5/8 in)
de altura desde el suelo.
c. Medir 20,32 cm ( 8 in) hacia arriba
de la línea, y marcar otra línea
horizontal paralela a la primera.
d. Alinear la curva de un soporte para
tirante (ESG) con la línea horizontal
inferior, asegurándose que las
ranuras del soporte quedan

e. Asegurar el soporte al muro
insertando pernos o tirafondos (no
se incluyen) apropiados para el
muro a través de las ranuras largas
del soporte.
f. Asegurar el otro soporte para
