Charging process

Pay attention to the mains voltage. The voltage of the
u
power source must match the voltage specified on the rating
plate of the charger.
The charging process begins as soon as both the mains plug
and a rechargeable battery have been inserted. If the charging
process is started with multiple rechargeable batteries simul-
taneously, they will be charged one after the other in the direc-
tion of the imprinted arrows (2) (anticlockwise).
The rechargeable batteries are charged one after the other in
two charging cycles.
– In the first charging cycle, all inserted batteries are charged
up to approx. 80 % of their capacity.
– In the second charging cycle, the rechargeable battery is
charged from approx. 80 % to full capacity. The second
charging cycle begins when all inserted batteries have been
charged to approx. 80 %.
The charging process is only possible when the temper-
ature of the battery is within the permitted charging tem-
perature range (0–45 °C).
