Test Button

Press and hold test to preview shade selection before welding. When
released, the viewing window will automatically return to the light state (3.5
Shade).
Sensitivity Control
Press the MODE button to select Weld or Cut Mode. Adjust the light sensitivity by
pressing the SENS button to select Sensitivity Control Mode. Press the SENS
button to select the desired sensitivity level displayed on the LED scale. The
scale will illuminate orange for Sensitivity Control Mode. HIGH increases the
sensitivity which makes the ADF cartridge more sensitive to light. When the
helmet is used in the presence of excess ambient light or with another welding
machine close by, improved helmet performance can be obtained with a lower
setting indicated by LOW. There are 5 increments of sensitivity control.
