This holder can be used when reprocessing transmission instruments
used in dental applications (dental handpieces, for example) in spe-
cial Miele washer-disinfectors. Follow the operating instructions for
your washer-disinfector as well as the instructions of the medical
device manufacturer on how to reprocess their items by machine.
The wash water used for reprocessing transmission instruments
needs to be filtered.
The clamp supplied with the AUF 1 holder can used for mounting on
injector manifolds with silicone adapters.
The clamp supplied with the AUF 2 holder is designed solely for
mounting on the injector manifolds of the O 801/2 upper basket.
You will need to use the A 801 threaded adapter to mount the holder
on injector manifolds with a screw thread.
The washer-disinfector is generally referred to as "the machine" in
these operating instructions. Reprocessable medical devices are re-
ferred to as "load items" if they are not more closely defined.
