c.- Output menu
The following main menu shows the fre-
quency or output channel, the output off-
set (for channels only), the level controls
and the output mode.

.
In frequency mode, you can select any out-
put frequency value between 177.5 -
226.5MHz (VHF) and between 474 - 858
MHz (UHF). The decimal part depends on
the frequency step selected (see extended
menu b). If the frequency step is defined as
125KHz the decimal part values allowed are
0, 125, 250, 375, 560, 666 and 833 KHz. If it
is a 166 KHz step, then the values allowed
are 0, 166, 333, 500, 666 and 833 KHz.
The output level control accepts values bet-
ween 00 and 99.
The possible output options are:
- Norm.: Normal output
- CW: Generates a carrier in the selected
frequency ( useful for headend
balancing in the absence of an
input signal).
- OFF: No output generated

In channel mode you can select an output
channel from the selected table as well as
offset of central frequency of the channel.
The offset values allowed depend on the fre-
quency step selected:
- 125KHz step: +4 (-500, -375, -250, 0,
125, 250, 375, 500 KHz)
- 166KHz step: +5 (-500, -333, -166, 0,
166, 333, 500 KHz)
d. Measures menu
The following main menu shows the input bit
rate ASI measured by the computer (in
Kbps) and the error messages if malfunc-
tion.
Of:+3
- If there is no ASI signal at the input of the
equipment, the following message will be
displayed "ASI not detected!".
- If the ASI input bit rate is too high to be
accommodated in the output COFDM
signal, the following message will be
displayed "ASI Overflow!"
