To start the blower, squeeze the variable-speed
trigger
(Figure
20).
Note:
Engage the speed lock to keep the
machine on without pressing the variable-speed
trigger
(Figure
20).
The battery charge status lights indicate how
much charge the backpack has left.
Important:
Ensure that the speed lock is
disengaged before you remove the backpack
or remove the battery packs from the
machine.

Adjusting the Air Speed of
the Blower
To adjust the air speed as you blow, use the
variable-speed trigger
To achieve maximum performance (air speed), hold
the trigger, then press and hold the turbo boost button
for the desired amount of time
To maintain the current air speed, engage the speed
lock
(Figure
20).
Important:
Ensure that the speed lock is
disengaged before you remove the backpack or
remove the battery packs from the machine.

Shutting Off the Blower

To shut off the blower, disengage the speed lock (if in
use) and release the variable-speed trigger

If there you ever need to rapidly remove the backpack,
disconnect the quick-release buckles as follows:
1.
Press in on the sides of the buckles (A of

Allow the buckles to disconnect (B of

Remove the shoulder straps and set the
backpack on the ground.
Important:
Ensure that the speed lock is
disengaged before you remove the backpack or
remove the battery packs from the machine.
Whenever you are not using the blower or are
transporting the blower to or from the work area,
remove the battery pack(s).
